hi to all at Bryn Ifor

thought we would just drop you a quick update from Lymm!

Went to the Palace theatre on saturday to see Mary Poppins , it was a great show especially when Mary disappeared into the ceiling right above our seats in the grand circle! It was sooo scary being so high up, Nigel isn't good with heights so we had to hold his hand.

Must admit it was tricky getting in and out of the low seats and looking down to the stage especially after a glass of wine or two beforehand at the Italian restaurant next door. the waiter poured Dan a glass thinking he was 18 ooh my baby is growing up and getting facial hair!

Cerys would love Mary Poppins although its a Disney co-production its very different from the film and more in line with the orginal book,

Hope Cerys is doing well with her blood levels and not having to make lots of trips to the hospital poor thing, give her and Iwan our love, and we hope to see them both soon.

That said, can you believe its nearly February already! it will be Easter before we blink and a quarter of the year gone, the way this month is going so fast it will be ages before we get to see you, we have quite a bit on the next few weeks, thankfully not all work. We are going to Center Parks for four days then Dan is coming out to Cannes with me for an event, hopefully we also get to see some sunshine

can you ask Carolyn to send her address and telephone number we don't have any contact details for her yet.
take care and love to all

Rainy and lazy Sundays

Hello all, hope I find you well? I am having a lazy weekend this weekend, took myself shopping with some friends to Chester yesterday, and today Jon has taken the kids and Carolyn looking at kitchens (DIY shops are my idea of Sunday hell!!!!) so have managed to get the house in order, and thought I'd fill you in on our week here :o)

First week back to work passed uneventfully thankfully, although I'm sure we were all grumpy!! Best news of the week comes from Thursday, when we had Cerys's haemaglobin tested again, and after another battle at the hospital ( I shall not swear on a public site!) her level came back at 10.1, which is wonderful considering the average for a child is 10, and it's been over four weeks since they last transfused. It's the best news we could have hoped for really, and means we may have made the right decision and cancelling her Line in. So it's lovely seeing her bounce around the place.....her gob hasn't shut up though, but would we have it any other way?! Course not!!!

So we're doing well at the moment, it's lovely to live normally :o) Another uneventful week hopefully, but will try and upload a video of the kids dancing this morning for you.........Oh and I want pics of all of you on this Guitar game that everyone's raving about please!!!!

Hope you're all ok, speak soon, kisses to all

Greetings and a Very Happy New Year to all!

Sounds like everyone had a great Christmas at Bryn Ifor, loved the piccies of Cerys and Iwan, the flu bug passed us by for Christmas, seems like every family had someone down with it during Christmas.

we had a very quiet Christmas and New Year - time to relax, go to bed when we wanted, and get up when we wanted- yummy!!
Went out for Christmas dinner - with the rest of the family in Lymm, then it was back home for Dan to thrash everyone at guitar hero on his xbox. We had totally fooled him in to believing he had different presents under the tree, he kept trying to guess just by looking what was in each box so we pretended to give in and tell him what each present contained.

Uncle Chris told us Dan was worried his bedroom wasn't big enough to put a "drum kit" in and was planning to move beddrooms . Had him fooled for two weeks

- it was great to see him open what he thought was the drum kit only to find it was a wireless printer and digital camera.

back to work with a bang, the week just seemed to fly uggghh- good news, though we have just booked center parcs for Feb half term, going monday to friday then the week after i am taking Dan to Cannes to an event at the palais des festivals.
who knows, we may even see some sunshine....

hope to see you all soon keep the piccies coming
love hugs and kisses

Happy New Year :o)

Happy New year from Anglesey!! Hope you had a lovely Christmas and New Year passed peacefully for you. Here's how ours went!!

Firstly, Cerys has kept reasonably healthy, and we have not had a visit to the hospital for four weeks now, and it has been so nice I can't tell you!!!!!! We've just lived normally, and she has got on with the things ay other four year old does, so for that, I am very greatful. She does still like playing her Doctors though, and Iwan is also picking up on the procedures now. Our friend who is diabetic has given her some old Pens for testing, so we've all been the subject of her medical training!!!!

On the 14th of December, it was the Children's ward Christmas party, and as much as I wasn't looking forwards to going, it was a very very well arranged day. Santa flew in via helecopter, which the kids loved, and they had reindeer there for the kids to pet. Cerys absolutely loved them.

Now Santa was very generous as always, and the kids were completely overwhelmed with gifts, thanks to everyone. Iwan however decided enough was enough at lunchtime, and whilst we started our Christmas meal, he did this!

Cerys was in her glory though, and loved the crackers this year.

This was the mayhem that ensued afternoon!

Despite having a nice Chritmas, Iwan and I have been quite poorly with the flu, so we were completely laid out for a few days :( Poor Us!!

We then chilled inbetween Christmas and the new year as Jon actually had some time off this year, for the first time sinc the kids were born. He had decided he wanted to do something for new year, so a few friends came over to help us celebrate.

The godfather????

So, there we have it, back to normal tomorrow, the Sunday Night blues hit here (well, plus delayed hangover after my night out last night!!) We havent forgotten about you honestly, and willbe sorting ourselves out now that flu and everything has gone. Hope you are all well, and we shall speak with you soon.
